Assignment for June 9, 2014

I am sorry I am out - I have pneumonia and need another day to get my cough under control.  When I get back we are going to start looking at the Elections of 2004 and 2008, so if you could look up information on both elections and get some background so we can get started.

Regarding the final...you will have an essay question about the Iraq War.  You can have a notecard with information about the Iraq War.  So if you want to get info together on that go ahead.  I will also probably do something on the Election of 2008 but we will talk about that when I get back.

You will also have a document packet on The Patriot Act with  documents for and against it and you will have to answer questions about it, then determine whether or not it is ok for the government to infringe on our liberties for safety.
